The 2013 football season was filled with ups and downs.  The team is always improving and they doubled their win total from the previous year.  We kicked off the season with a loss to Penncrest.  The team went 3-0 over the next three games.  One of those wins were against rival Norristown.  The Norristown win was a close game which showed the character of the players on the team.  These young men never quit and never gave up throughout the season.  This year’s seniors ended their high school career with a hard fought win against Bensalem.  Some of our seniors will go on and play football in college and a few will not, but lessons they learned during this season were to never give up and they will always be part of a family with their football brothers.  The future is bright for the 2014 Upper Merion Vikings football team.
