DON JACKSON makes his return home to Viking Football this season, as our head Freshmen Football Coach. During Coach Jackson’s previous 19 year tenure at Upper Merion High School, he coached Defensive Backs, Outside Linebackers, and served as Defensive Coordinator, and helped lead the Vikings to 5 Suburban 1 Championships.
Coach Jackson spent 11 years at Phoenixville Area High School where he served as Defensive Coordinator, leading the Phantoms to their first PAC 10 Championship and multiple play off appearances.
Coach Jackson attended West Chester University where he played running back for the Rams from 1976 to 1980.
He is married to wife Donna Jackson, also a teacher at UMASD. Together they have 3 children, Donnie, Danny and Dionna.
